The Comfort Zone
I spent this past weekend shooting photos at the BC Cup mountain bike race in Mission, BC. It's been a while since I've shot a downhill race, and I must admit it felt good. I did this for so many years...for so many races, that it's an old comfort zone. I know what I'm doing when it comes to shooting DH racing, and - after a morning "warm-up" - I was right back into it, getting some wicked shots. I reunited with some familiar faces from days gone by, and got to spend some time hanging out with the Squamish kids. All in all, a very fun weekend...and I even made some money to boot!
